Yes, today I have more swatches for you. But don’t worry – I promise you a FULL MONTH of nail art starting tomorrow! I am taking part in the Nail Art A-Go-Go challenge hosted by Gnarly Gnails so you can expect 28 days of nothing but nail art. My month might get really busy halfway through so I’m not quite sure if I’ll manage to get all the prompts done, but I’ll do my best and you’ll certainly be seeing most of them. This challenge is open to everyone so feel free to hop on board and get some fun nail art done! 🙂Now, on to today’s nails. It was my birthday last month and my lovely sister got me some nail polish! Of course I have to show you 🙂 She got me a set of two of the Revlon Parfumerie polishes: The Indulgent collection, consisting of Bordeaux and Spun Sugar. First up we have Bordeaux. Firstly, this is a really great colour. I don’t have that many reds in my collection so I don’t have anything quite like this: a lovely, deep red, it really is reminiscent of red wine. The scent is very artificial, but pleasant. It’s sweet and grapey. I found myself sniffing my nails every now and then throughout the day, I really enjoyed this one.
Next up is Spun Sugar. This silver also isn’t quite like anything else I have in my stash, and it’s a lovely colour, but it’s rather brush-strokey. The scent of this one was also sweet and with a slight burnt sugar hint – true to its name. Unfortunately I wasn’t really a fan of the scent on this one and after a while I found myself wishing it would fade. The scent does last throughout the day, which is great if you like it of course! Overall, these two polishes are very pretty, I like them and I’ll use them again, but I definitely wouldn’t buy them just because they’re scented. I do really like both colours despite the brushstrokeiness of Spun Sugar though 🙂
