Nail Art A-Go-Go Challenge Day 7: Primary

Hi everyone!

The first week of the Nail Art A-Go-Go challenge hosted by Gnarly Gnails is down! Only 3 weeks to go, I hope I can make it 🙂

Today’s theme is primary and I decided to go with some primary-coloured flowers.

I’m glad I ended up doing it this way around though, as I actually think it looks even cooler. nails-flowers-rimmel-cocktail-colour-in-a-flash-hawaiian-punch-studs-born-pretty-storeI started with 3 coats of Rimmel Cocktail Colour in a Flash in Hawaiian Punch and then added the flowers using yellow and blue studs from the Born Pretty Store. I’m pretty sure I saw a similar look using studs to create flowers somewhere else recently, but for the life of me, I can’t remember where – sorry!nails-flowers-rimmel-cocktail-colour-in-a-flash-hawaiian-punch-studs-born-pretty-storeI really enjoyed creating this look and it was a super easy way to make some cute floral nails! There was only one bad side – my nails got stained RED! That’s a first for me, I’ve had blue stains and I constantly have yellow stains despite my base coats, but it’s the first time I have red-stained nails. The staining was worse where the studs had been, for some reason, too. nails-flowers-rimmel-cocktail-colour-in-a-flash-hawaiian-punch-studs-born-pretty-storeThat’s okay though because I love these cute little flowers! I hope you like them too 🙂nails-flowers-rimmel-cocktail-colour-in-a-flash-hawaiian-punch-studs-born-pretty-storeHere are the remaining themes for the challenge:
