Subtle Snakeskin Stamping

Hi everyone!

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. I did! It was my boyfriend’s birthday yesterday so he took the day off and we had a long weekend. We went to the KKNK which is an Afrikaans music and arts festival here in South Africa. It was my first time there and it was a lot of fun! But I’m back today with some nail art for you.

I heard that the Essence Magnetic polishes were good for stamping so I decided to give them a try. I think I didn’t use the best base colour so it came out more subtle than I would have liked but I still think it looks cool. snakeskin-subtle-stamping-tip-top-nailc-chic-chiffon-squares-essence-magnetics-majestic-green-moyou-pro-colection-05The base was Tip Top Chiffon Squares, a soft silver. I stamped using the snakeskin pattern from Moyou Pro Collection 05 and Essence Magnetics Majestic Green. snakeskin-subtle-stamping-tip-top-nailc-chic-chiffon-squares-essence-magnetics-majestic-green-moyou-pro-colection-05After a quick test after I bought it, the magnetic polish doesn’t seem all that magnetic, but luckily it is still a nice colour and it does seem to stamp at least okay – I’ll give it a chance over some other colours to see how it performs. snakeskin-subtle-stamping-tip-top-nailc-chic-chiffon-squares-essence-magnetics-majestic-green-moyou-pro-colection-05Usually I like my nail art to be quite bold, but I am sure this more subtle look would be more to the tastes of many. You get to do something special on your nails but it’s not too in-your-face. snakeskin-subtle-stamping-tip-top-nailc-chic-chiffon-squares-essence-magnetics-majestic-green-moyou-pro-colection-05What do you think of the more subtle look?
