Hi everyone!

Today’s theme for the Neverending Pile Challenge is frost. I’m not sure that any of my untried polishes could be classified as frosts, so I decided to stretch the definition a little and go for something with more of a pearlescent finish – and as an added bonus, it does look a little like actual frost. swatchThis is Essence Sparkling Water Lily, shown over black (Sinful Colors Black On Black). Interestingly, even though on its own Sparkling Water Lily has a white pearl finish, over the black it seems to pull rather blue. swatchI used this as a base to create some nail art. For some reason, as I looked at it, the idea of tree silhouettes popped into my head, so that’s what I decided to do. essence-sparkling-water-lily-tree-frost-sinful-colors-black-on-black-essence-cool-breezeAfter a quick Google image search to find something that looked like what I had in mind, I used these nails as inspiration for my trees. I painted the trees with Sinful Colors Black on Black and a nail art brush. essence-sparkling-water-lily-tree-frost-sinful-colors-black-on-black-essence-cool-breezeI then topped it with a coat of Essence Cool Breeze, creating an effect of a cold, wintery, snowy and frosty evening. essence-sparkling-water-lily-tree-frost-sinful-colors-black-on-black-essence-cool-breezeWhat do you think? Does this count as frosty?npc-graphicCheck out some other frosty manicures at the link:
