Hi everyone!
Today for the Neverending Pile Challenge the prompt was to use an untried gold polish. A few weeks ago, Tip Top South Africa hosted a competition on their Facebook page to create nails with a theme of ‘glitz and glamour’, so I took the opportunity to create these with my untried gold. They’re a lot more blingy than something I’d usually wear, but definitely a lot of fun! I started off with a base of Tip Top – Eureka (my untried gold) on all except my thumb nail, and a base of Tip Top Armourplate on my thumbnail.
On my thumb and middle finger, I added stripes of striping tape, then added a clear coat and sprinkled on loose glitter in the opposite colour and peeled the tape off.
I made my ring finger extra blingy, covering it completely with rhinestones.
On my pinkie and index finger, I created a gradient of Eureka and Armourplate, then topped it with a coat of Catrice Glitterazzi and a coat of Tip Top Rocky Road Glitter, and finished it off with a rhinestone at the base of the nail.
This isn’t something I would wear on my nails all that often, but it was fun for once!
What do you think of today’s over-the-top blingy nails?
