Today’s theme in the Neverending Pile Challenge is a pink polish. This is what I’ve come up with for today: Yes, I promise, I’ve used an untried pink! You can see the bottle I’m holding! I’ve swatched it to prove it to you: I started with a base of Sinful Colors Snow Me White then added 3 coats of Essence Party Princess. Party Princess has a very thick consistency but wasn’t too bad to apply. Party Princess is a sheer pink base filled with beautifully sparkly iridescent glitter. I didn’t like it much on its own like this as I don’t think it looked great with my skin tone, but layered over something else (as I did for my nail art), I love it. So now – back to the nail art. For my base I used another untried, Tip Top Boogy Wonderland. I then stamped the various stars using Moyou Roxy Collection 04, MLS-301, BM-320, and KD3 stamping plates.
I tried to stamp with a white stamping polish I had from the Born Pretty Store, which I’ve used before with success, but I had trouble picking up the images and it seemed to have become too thick. Just as I was about to give up, I remembered hearing that Sinful Colors Snow Me White stamps well, so I tried it – and it stamped perfectly! I think I’ll be sticking with it for white stamping in the future. Obviously, I finished up with a coat of Party Princess. I loved how sparkly it made the mani! It was perfect to layer over the stars.
