Today I have a swatch for you of OPI Hot & Spicy. I won this polish in a giveaway by Ordinary Misfit. This is actually the first non-textured OPI I have tried – they are a bit out of my normal price range here so I only spent the extra money on some Liquid Sands before many textures were available over here. I see many beautiful OPI polishes though so I was excited to try one! Hot & Spicy is from the OPI Hong Kong collection from 2010.
Hot & Spicy did not disappoint. This is three thin coats. The formula was great and I love the colour! It’s not one of the first shades I’d have picked out for myself, but now that I’ve tried it, I see how lovely it is. I’d describe this shade as being something between a coral and an orange – more like a shrimp colour. This is far from the traditional bright orange of Halloween, but I do still think it can be Halloween appropriate. I already used it in yesterday’s Halloween Water Marble.
What do you think? Is this your kind of shade?
