I have really been loving my freehand nail art lately so when I came across this beautiful colourful doodle nail art by The Dalai Lama’s Nails, I knew I had to recreate it. To me it looked like a colourful version of a henna design. I don’t have many nude polishes so I wasn’t sure what to use as a base, until I spotted Yardley Delight at the back of my cupboard. My bottle is several years old and I vaguely remembered struggling with the formula but I decided to give it a try anyway. To my surprise it wasn’t too thick and I managed fine with it, however it did take a long time to dry. I did all of the detail work using acrylic paints and a small nail art brush. I thought this would look better matte so I added a matte top coat. I love doing detailed art like this so this one was a winner for me! What do you think?
