Swatches: Tip Top Eureka and Gold Mine

Hi everyone!

What could be more appropriate for Christmas time than a gorgeous, blingy gold nail polish? Today I have two beauties to share with you. Both of these are from Tip Top’s Nail Addict range. First up is Tip Top Eureka:Painted Fingertips | Swatch: Tip Top EurekaThis is two coats of Eureka. I’m terrible at describing polishes but I’ll do my best! This one made me think of old-fashioned, high class jewellery. This is a really pure, rich-looking gold. It has a bit of a foil finish which is perfect for a shade like this. Painted Fingertips | Swatch: Tip Top Eureka The formula on this, like most Tip Tops, was great and very easy to use. You can see some slight brush strokes in the picture but they are barely noticeable and that really wasn’t a problem to me. Painted Fingertips | Swatch: Tip Top Gold MineNext up is Tip Top Gold Mine. This is again two coats. This is a much more yellow gold, and doesn’t give the same old fashioned vibe as Eureka. I love Gold Mine because it is amazing for stamping and it is by far my favourite gold polish for stamping at the moment. The finish really packs a punch and almost makes it seem like my nails are glowing – it looks like pieces of gold foil stuck to my nails – gorgeous! Painted Fingertips | Swatch: Tip Top Gold Mine

Again, the formula was effortless and the quality was just what I have come to expect from Tip Top. If you like either of these then you had better scoop it up as sadly, the Tip Top brand is shutting down. These may already be impossible to get a hold of but if you’re lucky, you might find a last bottle.

Which of these golds do you like best?
