Water Marble Wednesday: Silver and Blue

Hi everyone!

It’s Water Marble Wednesday and today I have a simple blue and silver one for you. I haven’t done anything special to ring in the new year, I decided to just go with a good old random water marble. Painted Fingertips | Silver and blue water marbleI started with a base of Tip Top Chiffon Squares then I marbled using Tip Top In the Navy! and Sally Hansen Pedal to the Metal. I didn’t go for any pattern but just did some random swirls. Painted Fingertips | Silver and blue water marble

I know a lot of people are intimidated by the idea of a water marble, but a random marble like this is honestly one of the easiest nail art techniques I know. Creating a specific pattern is hard but a random marble is very simple and in my opinion, always looks great. Painted Fingertips | Silver and blue water marble

What do you think?

See you next year!

I’m a bit crap at watermarbles so I think all of them look special. I love the colour combination its very pretty.

Thank you! My first water marbles were pretty awful but I still loved them at the time too, I think it just takes practice

These look great!! Random watermarbles like this are what helped motivate me to try out the designs. But I haven’t done a watermarble in a while, so I think I need to change that!

Thanks! I also started with random marbles and I still love them. Sometimes they look even better than a design (and they’re WAY easier!)

I think anyone can do them with a little practice! Thank you!

This looks great! I love the metallic look to it! Watermarbling is definitely a skill that needs practice, but it looks so great once you know how to use it!
