Water Marble Wednesday: Pink and Purple

Painted Fingertips | Pink and purple water marble

Hi everyone!

You might remember how excited I was a couple of weeks ago to find out how well the Tip Top neons marbled. I was determined to try them again and today I have. I actually didn’t use the same polishes as last time, but used a different bright pink and purple from Tip Top to see if they would work as well. Painted Fingertips | Pink and purple water marble

I was overjoyed to get this petal-like pattern right! It’s a fairly simple water marble pattern but I have always struggled with it. Perhaps I just wasn’t using the right polishes! For this look, I started with a base of Sinful Colors Snow Me White then marbled using Tip Top Grape Dance and Sitting Pretty.Painted Fingertips | Pink and purple water marble

You can see how much brighter the colours look on some nails than on others. I think that was dependent on how thick the polish was where I dipped my nail which had a lot to do with how many drops of polish I’d added. I did wish all my nails were as vibrant as my index finger, but I didn’t mind it much.

I love marbling with these polishes! It really makes a world of difference to use polishes which marble well. I’m sure you haven’t seen the last of them! Painted Fingertips | Pink and purple water marble
