You might remember how excited I was a couple of weeks ago to find out how well the Tip Top neons marbled. I was determined to try them again and today I have. I actually didn’t use the same polishes as last time, but used a different bright pink and purple from Tip Top to see if they would work as well.
I was overjoyed to get this petal-like pattern right! It’s a fairly simple water marble pattern but I have always struggled with it. Perhaps I just wasn’t using the right polishes! For this look, I started with a base of Sinful Colors Snow Me White then marbled using Tip Top Grape Dance and Sitting Pretty.
You can see how much brighter the colours look on some nails than on others. I think that was dependent on how thick the polish was where I dipped my nail which had a lot to do with how many drops of polish I’d added. I did wish all my nails were as vibrant as my index finger, but I didn’t mind it much.
I love marbling with these polishes! It really makes a world of difference to use polishes which marble well. I’m sure you haven’t seen the last of them!
What do you think of this look? What are your favourite polishes to marble with?
