Water Marble Wednesday: Freehand Lettering

Hi everyone!

First up, a warm welcome to my new blog! I’ve revamped the whole look and made it easier for you to navigate, comment and pin images – I hope you will enjoy it!

It’s Water Marble Wednesday and today I have combined a water marble with freehand art. Some days a marble just doesn’t go the way you wanted it to. It could be that the polishes don’t spread properly (in which case you should just choose different polishes!) or it could be that the colours just don’t look the way you were hoping they would. That’s what happened to me this time. I did a neon water marble a couple of weeks ago which worked amazingly and another one using only some of the colours which I loved as well. This time I tried to use a different selection of neons and it just didn’t work out. The marble constantly looked muddy and the colours were really pale.

She does amazing freehand nail art and I have always loved the freehand letter art she did. She also did a second version of it which was just as beautiful. I took inspiration from her and did the same to save my disappointing water marble.

You did really well on the lettering! Very cute way to jazz up a marble that you don’t love (although I don’t think it looks as bad as you think).

Considering the fact that if I did a water marble it would look like a muddy ditch…I think yours is lovely! I love the addition of the letters though and your website looks great!

Thank you! I just wasn’t happy with the way this one looked after the previous neon one I did looked so much more neon. The letters saved it though!

Wait wait wait…freehanded the letters? I couldn’t freehand a straight line if my life depended on it! Beautiful job!

Lol! A straight line is one of the hardest things to do though! These letters were much easier 😉
