Water Marble Wednesday: Orange and Blue

Painted Fingertips | Orange and blue water marble

Hi everyone!

I’m loving the water marble I’ve done for today so I hope you’ll like it too. I remembered how well OPI Hot & Spicy marbled when I used it a few months ago, so I wanted to marble with it again. I combined it with blue and they worked great together! Painted Fingertips | Orange and blue water marbleOver a base of OPI Hot & Spicy, I marbled with Hot & Spicy and Sinful Colors Endless Blue. I tried something sort of new with the marble pattern, and it came out pretty well – you can see the pointed zigzag type of pattern everywhere except for on my pinkie, if you look carefully 😛Painted Fingertips | Orange and blue water marbleThese two polishes worked amazingly together. Once the marble was done, I felt like it just needed a little something extra so I added two studs which were previously provided for a review from the Born Pretty Store. Very nice! Very Florida team spirit! Also like that it almost looks zebra print.

This turned out really cool. The pattern reminds me so much of wood grain. I need to do more water marbles, I love how they look. I just never seem to have the time lately.

Thank you! I actually did a wood grain water marble just the other day, but I guess the pattern on this one looks that way too 🙂
