Today I have a review of a stamping plate from Born Pretty Store to share with you. If you like this plate (or anything else from Born Pretty Store – which stocks just about every nail art goodie you can imagine!) you can use the code KGG10 to get 10% off on your purchase.
The plate I am sharing with you today is coded BP-14 and you can take a look on the BPS website to see the whole plate. I have used two of the images from the plate so far. The first one I wanted to try was this lovely ornate repeating pattern. Stamping is probably the type of nail art I am worst at so the couple of gaps you see are most likely my fault. At least my ring finger looks perfect, as you can see the image was transferred really well. The moment I saw this image I knew I wanted to pair it with a classy golden brown polish – the only one I had which fit the bill was OPI What Wizardry is This? which also happens to be one of my favourite textured polishes. I stamped using a white stamping polish and plate BP-14. I also decided to show you a second look using this plate. The triangles image from the plate reminded me of confetti and I decided to stamp using two colours to look like triangular confetti. I started with a base of Sinful Colors Cinderella then stamped using a red and blue stamping polish. This image stamped really well and even with my lousy stamping skills I only managed to mess up the ring finger. I wanted to continue the confetti look so I topped it off with a coat of Sinful Colors Opal Glitter.
What do you think? Would you try this plate? Don’t forget to use the code KGG10 for 10% off if you decide to buy it! I really liked the image with the stars as well so I’m sure you’ll be seeing that one before long!
