Some items in this post have been provided for honest review.

Hi everyone!

I have another stamping plate from Born Pretty Store to share with you today. To start with I am going to show you the nails I created with them, because I am SO proud of them and they show you how amazing this plate is, too! Painted Fingertips | Ornate Stamping DecalsTa-daa! I’ll get to the details in a bit, but first, let’s take a look at the plate. Painted Fingertips | Stamping plate BP-L 008I basically picked this plate for that top row of gorgeously detailed images, but I love the images in the second row as well. In fact, I’ve already done some ordinary stamping using one of those images and you’ll be seeing that on the blog before long too! I’m less likely to use the images in the bottom row much but they also have a ton of nail art potential. I stamp-tested each image to show you how well they stamp:Painted Fingertips | Stamping plate BP-L 008Well, I’m pretty happy with that. The fine lines stamp well and most bare patches are probably me. The only image that didn’t stamp well was the leaves in the middle row; I was sure it was my mistake so I stamped a second time and as you see, it came out fine. The top row is still my favourite with those gorgeous intricate images, which is why I used it for today’s nails:Painted Fingertips | Ornate Stamping DecalsNot long ago I made these stamping decals and I told you how proud I was of myself for finally making some decals I considered a success. Well, throw that post out the window, because these are my new pride and joy! I am so happy with the way these came out. I used a different image from the stamping plate on each nail so that I could show you more than one of the images at once, and I just love how well they all work together. I’m especially crazy about the images on my thumb and middle finger. Painted Fingertips | Ornate Stamping DecalsI started off with a coat of Essence Sparkling Water Lily on each nail in case there were any gaps left in the decals. To create the decals, I used Essence Majestic Green, Witch You Were Here, Magic Red Carpet, Tip Top Synergy and Gold Digger, along with EssenceĀ Absolute Pure and plate BP-L 008. Painted Fingertips | Ornate Stamping DecalsIf you feel a bit daunted by stamping decals, don’t worry – the thing that makes these decals amazing is the beautiful stamping images which means they can look amazing with normal stamping as well. Like I said, I’ll be showing you another look from this plate soon as well!
