Hi everyone!
Today I have tried something totally new to me. I not only painted my nails, I also painted under my nails! For a good reason though, just keep reading to see what I came up with 🙂About a year ago, LadyCrappo posted these nails. They were hugely popular, and for good reason! As I was thinking about what movie I could use for this prompt, I remembered her idea and decided to do my own version. The movie is The Secret Garden. It’s a children’s movie, but if you never saw it, you should!
The movie features a big stone wall, and behind it, the children discover an absolutely beautiful secret garden:
The space under my nails was teeny tiny so I just managed the best little flowers I could!
For the stone wall, I started with a base of Rimmel Man Overboard and sponged on Sinful Colors Slate and Ciel, and Essence Grey-t To Be Here. I used acrylic paint to outline the stones. Then I climbed over the wall…
And into the garden, which I did with acrylic paint. I just loved this idea, even if it’s not the most practical, it’s just so cool!
In previous years, I did Finding Nemo nails and Rango nails. I’m not even going to try to pick a favourite out of these three. All 3 were awesome looks that I worked really hard on. I think my Rango nails were the hardest to do so I was very proud of them BUT I was also really proud of my Nemo nails at the time and the Secret Garden nails are just such a cool idea! Can you pick a favourite?
