A Real Snowy Day

Painted Fingertips | A real snowy day

Hi everyone!

Over the past few weeks I’ve already posted snowman nails, snow-covered trees, and snowflake nails, and here I am with yet another snowy look! Why all the snow nails? Well, first of all, it’s the first time I’m actually having winter at this time of the year, and secondly, it’s my first time experiencing snow! Each snowfall has been beautiful to me and it’s only natural to want to put that on my nails. Painted Fingertips | A real snowy day

This time I tried to create something that looks a little more like falling snow. I started off with a textured gradient background using OPI Solitaire and Tiffany Case, and Essie Lots of Lux. Painted Fingertips | A real snowy day

On top of the texture, I stamped using plate BP-L 003 from the Born Pretty Store. The stamping didn’t come out very crisp, but I actually thought it worked well as this way it looked more like falling snow flurries in the evening. Painted Fingertips | A real snowy day

I’ve found the snow to be magical and it’s worth the colder winter here! What do you think of these nails?
