Red and Gold Needle Drag

Painted Fingertips | Red and gold needle drag

Hi everyone!

I’ve had these pictures in my ‘ready to post’ folder for a couple of weeks and it seems they got forgotten there amidst the December chaos, so you’ll just have to look at Christmas-coloured nails in January. Luckily, this look can be lovely with any colour combination, it just so happens that I went with red and gold. Painted Fingertips | Red and gold needle drag

The two polishes I used for this were Tip Top Gold Mine and Renaissance Cosmetics Rosie-Osie. I painted them on radially, with Gold Mine on the outside, a circle of Rosie-Osie, and another dot of Gold Mine in the centre, then used a sewing pin to drag the polishes through each other. I finished off the look with a rhinestone at the centre of each nail. Painted Fingertips | Red and gold needle drag

You may have seen a sneak peek of this look on this post, where I paired it with a gorgeous wood watch from JORD. In case you missed it, you can still get a gift card for $25 off any of their watches here. Painted Fingertips | Red and gold needle drag

So, aside from the fact that it’s a little late for these Christmassy colours, I really liked this look. And I say I can wear red and gold year-round! What do you think?

This is a lot of fun, and I don’t think I’d even call it Christmasy.
