HPB Presents: Spring Nails!

Painted Fingertips | Spring stickers nail art

Hi everyone!

Once again, I’m taking part in the monthly Hobby Polish Bloggers nail link-up. This month’s theme is Spring. The nails I’m sharing with you today I actually did a couple of months ago, but I didn’t end up liking them much so I didn’t post them for a while. They are perfect for this theme though, so you get to see them after all! Painted Fingertips | Spring stickers nail art

The one part I liked about this nail art was the background. I started with a base of Tip Top Hap-Pea and then used some plastic wrap to dab it with Tip Top Stormy Sky. I love how they work together! Painted Fingertips | Spring stickers nail art

I decided to use some flower stickers and butterfly water decals I had to create a quick springy look. I think I went a bit overboard though – it was like I couldn’t stop sticking things! 🙂 I also realised that water decals seem to keep a lot better than stickers. Both have been open for at least a year and the stickers had become a little stiff and hard to work with. The decals were still totally fine. Painted Fingertips | Spring stickers nail art

I’m looking forward to seeing flowers starting to bloom around here! What do you like best about spring?

I like the base you made for this spring nail art, but the stickers are to much for me, as accents I would loved it more. But is sure looks fun!

I agree. I just couldn’t seem to stop sticking them and once I was done it was way too much for me.

I love this background – so soft and sweet. Very nice!
