Today I have another stamping plate review to share with you, this time of a gorgeous Mandala stamping plate from Born Pretty Store. As usual, I have two different looks with this plate to share with you, so scroll down to see both of them!
For this look, I started with a base of Darling Diva Polish Ajaxed. I then stamped using Tip Top Armourplate and plate BP-X15. The plate stamped really well and you can see how clear and crisp the lines are.
This was the third of three of the new square stamping plates I was trying. As you may recall, I wasn’t impressed with the first one, but I liked the second one far more. This one was by far my favourite of the three. It stamped very well and the image is lovely – I like that you can use the same part of the mandala image across all of your nails, or use different parts like I did here to have each nail different and yet cohesive.
For the second look, I decided to give leadlighting another try.
I then went back and coloured in a few of the sections using OPI Color Paints in Pen & Pink, Primarily Yellow, and Turquoise Aesthetic. Originally I had planned on filling in the entire stamp, but I really liked how it looked with just sections coloured in and the silver showing through for the rest.
It’s such a pretty stamping plate and I can definitely recommend this one! If you’d like to purchase this plate, it’s available here. Let me know what you think of this plate – and which of the two nail art looks do you prefer?
