Hi everyone!
I have yet another spiderweb look for Halloween today. I don’t know what it is, but most of my Halloween ideas this year have been spidery.
The base I used for these is Supermoon Lacquer The Lone Heir – it’s a gorgeous purple which is releasing soon, and I’ll be showing you swatches in a few days. It’s stunning shiny, just wait until you see it!
The nail art was inspired by this spiderweb look on CDBnails. I thought it was such a great idea – I’ve done sugarspun nails before, and even sugarspun spiderwebs, but I never thought of combining matte and shiny in this way. I topped The Lone Heir with a matte top coat and then used a shiny top coat to create the sugarspun spiderweb look. I finished it off with a Born Pretty Store spider stud.
I’d say this one is sufficiently creepy – I wouldn’t want to walk into that spiderweb!
