Hi everyone!

Today I have a review of some fun Born Pretty Store water decals to share with you. They’re paisley patterned water decals and they have a clear base, so I decided to use them over a fun water marble. Painted Fingertips | Born Pretty Store paisley water decals over water marble

I started off by creating the water marble using Zoya America and Supermoon Beta #21. I then applied the water decals over the marble. The pack of decals comes with two slightly different paisley patterns, so I selected the top one and cut out a piece for each nail. I removed the plastic covering, then one nail at a time, I dipped the decal in water for about 20-30 seconds then slid it off the backing and applied to the nail. I dabbed off excess water and finished it off with a top coat. Painted Fingertips | Born Pretty Store paisley water decals over water marble

You do need to be careful when applying top coat, because if you overwork it you can damage the decal a bit – you can see where I did that a little on my thumb nail. Overall though, they are easy to apply and such a fun pattern! I loved that these have a clear backing because you can either use a plain colour behind them, or get as creative as you like. I almost did a gradient behind these and I think I might do that with the other pattern in the pack. Painted Fingertips | Born Pretty Store paisley water decals over water marble

Easy and fun! If you’re interested in purchasing these decals, they’re available here.
