Hi everyone!

I’m back from a fun jam-packed holiday in California and I feel like I’ve been away from Painted Fingertips for ages!  I hope you’ve had a lovely holiday season. I’m glad to be back with some new nail art to share with you 🙂 Today I have a review of a fun gemstone stamping plate from Born Pretty Store to share with you.Painted Fingertips | Stamped gems

The first look I have created with this plate is a simple stamped look, and this also happens to be my favourite of the two looks I’m sharing with you today. I started off with a base of Darling Diva WHAM!!! and stamped it using Tip Top Gold Mine and plate 02 from a recent Born Pretty Store stamping plate collection. Painted Fingertips | Stamped gems

I love the gold and purple together and they’re the perfect choice for this gem stamping plate. I had no problems with the stamping plate and the images transferred clearly. I just used random parts of the plate; it would also be possible to select individual gems if you’d like. Painted Fingertips | Stamped gems

This seemed like the perfect plate to try my hand at some stamping decals, so that’s what I did for my second manicure. Painted Fingertips | Gem stamping decals

I decided to stick with sparkly, vivid shades to match the opulent theme of the stamping image. I started with a base of Vapid Cryogenic Refrigerant and filled in the gems using Polish ‘M Holly Jolly Christmas and Baby It’s Cold Outside, Renaissance Cosmetics Rosie-Osie, and Tip Top Gold Mine. I liked the combination of vivid colours with this gem plate a lot! Painted Fingertips | Gem stamping decals

This stamping plate is available individually or as part of a set of 5 plates. I went with the set because all of the plates have fun images and it works out cheaper per plate. Don’t forget you can always use the code KGG10 for 10% off at Born Pretty Store!
