Swatch and Nail Art: Madam Glam Florida Vibes

Some items in this post have been provided for review.

Hi everyone!

I was recently approached by Madam Glam to review some of their products and of course I couldn’t refuse. Be sure to scroll to the end of the post for a discount code for your own Madam Glam purchases! I have seen some of their products on other blogs before and they have always looked lovely, although this is my first time trying any of their products myself. Their focus is on gel polish, although they do stock a range of regular polish as well as some nail art products. I don’t believe I have ever shared a gel manicure with you on Painted Fingertips, but I couldn’t resist testing out one of their gorgeous gels. This is Madam Glam Florida Vibes. It is a gorgeous slightly teal-toned blue, with a sprinkling of glitter. The product listing states that the glitter is silver, but thanks to the translucent gel it appears as a slightly lighter turquoise. Here I am showing 2 coats of Florida Vibes. This is a soak-off gel polish, meaning it needs to be cured using a UV or LED lamp and applies a little differently to regular polish. I use gel polish for my pedicures all the time, because I just don’t get the same enjoyment out of painting my toenails, so I want something that lasts a long time! Longevity and a lasting shiny finish are the main advantages of gel polish – and if you don’t like changing your manicure more than once every couple of weeks, it’s definitely something to consider. The downside is the removal process, which takes longer than regular polish (although it’s easy enough), so for this swatch I used a peel-off base coat to avoid having to soak off the gel. I was really happy with how this looked in 2 coats – it has just the right amount of glitter, and is nice and squishy. In these pictures it appears a bit as though my middle nail is lighter in colour than the others, but this was just a trick of the lighting and it didn’t look that way in reality. The squishy blue reminded me of the ocean, so I decided to add some ocean-themed stamping:Painted Fingertips | Madam Glam Florida Vibes with ocean stamping

I used two different images from Moyou London Sailor Collection 04 to create a fun ocean-themed nail art look. Despite a little imperfect stamping, I liked these a lot!  Painted Fingertips | Madam Glam Florida Vibes with ocean stamping
