Can you believe we’re already at the end of Digital Dozen week? This week has just flown by! I’m especially glad it’s Friday though – I didn’t have a particularly tough week, but for some reason I’m really tired out and I need a weekend!
For the final day of the Digital Dozen does black week, I’ve included the least colour of any day – just a little silver holo – over the black base. Let’s take a look! I started off with a base of Sinful Colors Black on Black. That has been my loyal black polish to use for most of the manicures this week – and it’s been amazing. It has a great formula and is almost a one-coater! I applied two coats to get it completely even, but I think it’s fantastic – especially considering how affordable Sinful Colors is. In this case, it was the perfect base for some holo roses! I stamped the roses using Vapid Cryogenic Refrigerant and Born Pretty Store plate BP73. I used slightly different lighting on the above picture so you could see some of the holographic effect of Cryogenic Refrigerant. You can see it most on my thumb. I had fun looking at these in the sun on the bus this morning! I was really impressed with how well Cryogenic Refrigerant stamps. It was perfect for this nail art! I also have to mention how much I love this stamping image – I think it would look amazing with pretty much any colour combination. It looks just as great in the macro. That’s definitely one advantage of stamping – freehand can look amazing but the mistakes always come out on a macro shot! Some good stamping can still look amazing as zoomed in as this. I would say these holo roses are the perfect way to finish up this theme! This nail art still isn’t technically pure black, but I think it’s the closest of the five I’ve done this week. I’ve had fun with this theme – I hope you’ve enjoyed it too!
