I have two really gorgeous manicures to share with you today. I love both of these so much that I almost split them up into separate posts, but I want to show you different things that can be done with a fantastic stamping plate.
A few months ago, Born Pretty Store did a promotion to celebrate their birthday where anyone who shared their post would be sent one of three free celebration packets. Of course, I picked the nail stamping one. The package contained a gorgeously glittery stamper, a pack of celebratory scrapers, and a stamping plate. I haven’t actually tried this stamper yet because I can’t stop using my clear stamper, but it’s nice and squishy and very promising. I probably won’t use the scrapers and to me it’s a little silly to have so many, I reuse the same one again and again. The plate was the best part! I received Born pretty plate Celebration BPX-L008. It consists mostly of very Christmassy images, but there are a few that can be used in other ways. Since it’s February, I decided to show you a couple of ways to use it that aren’t necessarily just for the holidays. To start off with, let me gush a little… I absolutely adore this gradient. I created a gradient using Supermoon Lacquer Now I’m Gonna Eat You, Fool! and And You’ll Be a Goner. They are incredible together! I stamped over the gradient using Tip Top Armourplate and BPS plate BPX-L008.It’s easy to see how this could be used for a holiday season manicure – just use some red and green and the strings of stars become Christmas decorations. I just love it used like this, though. Even on the macro… I just can’t get over that gradient! The second manicure I did is more seasonal, but still doesn’t have to be Christmassy. We have a winter storm warning tonight here in Minnesota, so it’s an appropriate look! Purple snowflakes! Two things I love in one manicure 🙂 The base of this one is the gorgeous Vapid Lacquer Unicorn Blood. It’s a stunning polish and it was the perfect base for this look! I stamped using the purple Born Pretty Store stamping polish #8.
I can’t believe I forgot to take a macro shot of this one, it would have been incredible! As I said at the beginning of this post, I just love both looks I’ve shared today. They are both amongst my favourite stamped looks! I hope you enjoyed them too 🙂
