It’s been ages since I’ve done a Water Marble Wednesday post! Honestly, I just happened to do a water marble, so why not share it on a Wednesday? 🙂
Ever since I got some new Zoyas a few months ago, I’ve been wanting to use them in water marbles. In fact, I already did my bright 60s water marble a couple of weeks ago with some of them. I couldn’t get the brown and the nude I’d bought out of my head though… wouldn’t these be perfect for some coffee-inspired marbling? As it turns out, yes, they were perfect! This look reminds me of foamy swirls in some nice milky coffee! I’m not a coffee drinker, but I can appreciate some good milky swirls! I’ve never liked the taste of coffee, although strangely enough, I do like the smell of good coffee. I’ve always been more of a tea lover – at any given time, I probably have at least a dozen different teas in the cupboard. From fruity ones to spicy ones, green tea to rooibos tea, there’s something for every mood! I usually start and end my day with some tea. I also never drink milk in my tea, so this manicure has basically nothing to do with me, haha! To get this look, I started with a base of Zoya Misty, then marbled using Misty and Desiree. I added a top coat and had some gloriously swirly nails! I’ve always had good experiences marbling with Zoya cremes so far. I was also finally able to get a marble that looks something like a spiral, which I’ve struggled with in the past, so that was great! I was so happy with this water marble! I really always feel like I neglect water marbling – I don’t do it nearly often enough! It always seems like a lot of effort, but it isn’t really more effort than any other type of nail art. I should just do it, I always love the results!
Do you love water marbles too? And are you a coffee or a tea drinker?
