Today I have one from the stash to share with you – I did these nails months ago but never got around to posting them. I didn’t quite love the nail art so it always seemed like there was something else to post first. I still think they’re fun, though, so I’m glad I’m finally getting around to sharing them with you!
For this look, I decided to combine distressed nails with stamping to create a kind of cross-hatched pattern effect. I started off with a base of Elevation Khongoryn Els and then created the distressed effect by dry brushing on Tip Top Armourplate. I then stamped using Born Pretty Store stamping polish #18 and Moyou London plate Back to the 80s 02.
Now that I’m looking at the pictures again I think it’s a pretty cool effect! It might not be one of my favourite nail art looks ever but I do like the resulting pattern.
What do you think of this look?
I’m so glad it’s Friday – I’ve been so tired this week and I’m looking forward to having a relaxing weekend. Next week is Digital Dozen week and we have a really cool theme, so come back to see all of the great nail art!
