How about a nice, palate-cleansing swatch after yesterday’s crazy water marble? Today I am going to share with you a polish from one of my favourite brands, Supermoon Lacquer. Ever since I made my first purchase from the relatively new brand, Supermoon has rocketed up to being one of my top brands. Every polish I’ve tried from them so far has been fantastic! Today’s is no exception, so let’s take a look at Now I’m Gonna Eat You, Fool!
This polish came from the I am Cannibal collection, which was Supermoon’s second collection. I already have 5 out of the 8 polishes from this collection, and I’m pretty sure it’s only a matter of time until I’ll get the other 3. I love them that much and to make things even better, the polishes from the collection go together beautifully for nail art. For example, remember that gradient topped with starry stamping I showed you a couple of weeks ago? That one featured Now I’m Gonna Eat You, Fool! along with another polish from the collection, And You’ll Be a Goner. They are truly stunning together and the nail art opportunities are what motivate me to get my grabby little hands on the rest of the collection! Shown here are two easy coats with top coat. The official description of Now I’m Gonna Eat You, Fool! is a light aqua blue scattered holographic with blue and gold sparks, turquoise and violet shimmer, iridescent blue micro flakies, and holographic silver microglitters. Supermoon lacquer has a way of combining all of these wonderful elements into something subtly beautiful. So far, I haven’t seen any in-your-face linear holos or super-ultra-multichromes from them; rather, it’s a pinch of holo and a sprinkle of shimmer: just enough to create something truly beautiful without overwhelming you. In this case, that beauty comes together in the turquoise base. I love turquoise – it was even my wedding colour. Add to that the silver microglitter and the turquoise shimmer, the splash of holo and the sprinkle of sparks and you have a polish I could wear all week! The macro just says it all! If you’d like to get your hands on this pretty polish, it’s available here.
Do you own any polishes by Supermoon yet? What do you think of them?
