A couple of weeks ago, I shared half of the Polish ‘M Christmas Collection with you. Today I’m back with the second half, focusing on the cooler colours in the collection. Unfortunately, most of the polishes from this half of the collection are already sold out. Only one, Holly Jolly Christmas, is still available. Several from the other half of the collection are still available too, and all on sale at half price!
As I mentioned in the first post, this collection consists of ten polishes, each featuring a jelly base packed with coordinating and holo glitter. The collection is phenomenal for water marbling, and I have already shared not only one but two water marbles using this collection. First up is Polish ‘M Baby It’s Cold Outside. This was one of the two polishes that I purchased back when the collection first came out. It’s a bright royal blue filled with blue glitter and silver holo glitter. I really love this polish, both for its bright TARDIS blue colour and for all the glitter. In fact, I received this one just before leaving for my vacation in December, and it was one of only two polishes I took with me! These pictures show two coats of Baby It’s Cold Outside, plus top coat. The formula is great and easy to work with. All of the polishes in this collection dry with a slight texture because of all the glitter, but it’s nothing that a normal coat of top coat doesn’t smooth out. So glittery! I’m impressed with how well the glitters in each of these polishes spread over the nail with normal application. Such a beauty! Next up is Polish ‘M Holly Jolly Christmas. This was the other one that I bought when the collection first came out. It’s also the only one from today’s post that’s still available, so go get your hands on it while you still can! This was one polish that although I had liked the swatches I saw, I loved it even more in person. It seemed brighter and more yellow-leaning to me in person, and so beautifully squishy! Shown here are two coats with top coat. Again, the formula was great and a pleasure to work with. If that macro doesn’t convince you to go buy this polish, then I don’t know what will!
I was about to say that this is one of my favourites from the collection, but then I realised I might have to say that about all 5 polishes in this post! The next polish in the collection is Polish ‘M Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow. This is a silver base, once again packed with glitter; in fact I think there may be even more glitter in this one compared to the rest of the collection. By the way, what you’re seeing on my index fingernail is NOT a bald patch. It’s an odd reflection that unfortunately appeared on all of my pictures, but rest assured that the coverage from this polish is great! Once again, I have shown two coats plus top coat here; and again, fantastic formula. It’s SO sparkly! What’s also great about this polish is that it makes a fantastic base for sheer polishes and nail art – for example, I used it as the base under yesterday’s water marble. This one is just so versatile for nail art! I can’t wait to use it again. Next up is Polish ‘M Nuttin For Christmas. If you come here often, you’ll certainly know that I’m a purple lover, so this one definitely gets the stamp of approval from me! This is a rich, royal purple, packed with the coordinating and holo glitters that are this collection’s signature. Again, this is two coats with top coat. I really love how rich this shade of purple is! Once again, the formula on this was great and easy to work with. That macro just says everything about this polish! I can’t believe that I didn’t purchase this one right away. I only went back for it after I saw how much I liked the blue and the green! Last but not least, we have ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas. This one is a beautiful teal, packed with the collection’s signature coordinating glitter. I thought I might not need this one because I had another similar shade of teal, but of course, I was wrong! The other polishes I have don’t replicate this glittery goodness, anyway. I sound like a stuck record by now, but once again, this was two easy coats with top coat, and the formula was great. I love how squishy this one looks in the macro! I can’t decide if it’s more like a sparkling ocean, or a teal galaxy! This was my favourite half of the collection, because I tend to like blue, teal, green and purple polishes best, but if you’re a red, orange and yellow lover, check out the other half of the collection. If you like these polishes, you should also stop by the Polish ‘M store and see what else they have to offer.
Which of these glittery shades do you like best?
