The Digital Dozen Does Get to Know Me: Gizmo-cat Water Marble!

Painted Fingertips | Gizmo-cat water marble

Hi everyone!

It’s time for another installment of ‘get to know me’! If you were extra observant, you may have noticed that I didn’t post yesterday. As it happens, I’m having a particularly busy week in my ‘day job’ and I haven’t been able to finish all 5 looks for this week’s theme. I’ll probably be skipping another day as well. Let’s just call it a part of getting to know me!

I’ve dedicated today’s nail art to my beloved cat, Gizmo. Gizmo came into our lives a little over 2 years ago when my husband found him crying and hiding under my car, scared and hungry. He was still a baby, only about 2 and a half months old. Luckily, all he needed was some food and some love. He purred his way into our hearts and has stayed there ever since 🙂

I decided to use a few in this swirling pattern to represent his coat – and even though the colours aren’t quite right, I think you can get a Gizmo-cat vibe. I marbled using Zoya Darcy and Cam, Butter London Tea with the Queen, Essence Mister Rusty, and Polish ‘M Hay There!. I added the pawprints and hearts using acrylic paint. Do you have any sweet little animals that have become a part of your family?
