Today I’m reviewing another Born Pretty Store stamping plate, as usual with two different nail art looks. These are really pretty so make sure you click through and scroll down to see both of them! Both were created with plate Floral BPX-L018. This plate even has ‘floral’ in its name, but it actually consists mostly of leafy images. It will be an amazing plate to use for autumn manicures, but I’ve managed to create 2 looks that are more springy for today.
For my first look, I started with a base of Supermoon Green Goddess. I knew I needed to use this polish once I saw the plate. Something about it just always makes me want to do a leafy manicure with it!
I stamped using an image from plate BPX-L018 and stamping polish #12. I decided to go with green stamping to keep it looking a little more springy. The trees are starting to get some new green leaves around here at last. I always like to see the new leaves in Spring – their green is so vibrant and they look so fresh and new!
The image stamped perfectly! I’ve come to expect an easy stamping experience from the rectangular Born Pretty plates and I wasn’t disappointed.
For my second look, I decided to go with some really happy colours!
I recently bought myself a bottle of Supermoon You Better Run (the pink) and I immediately needed to create a gradient with that and Supermoon And You’ll Be A Goner. This created the perfect base for some more stamping with plate BPX-L018. I chose another leafy image and stamped using Powder Perfect Silver Stamping Polish. I adore this gradient, and the stamped leaves were clearly the perfect way to finish it off! Again, as you can see, the image stamped perfectly. I’m really happy with this plate and I can’t wait to do plenty of ‘falling leaves’ nail art with it in autumn! What do you think of these two looks?
If you’d like to get your hands on this plate, it’s available here, and remember to always use the code KGG10 for 10% off all Born Pretty Store purchases.
