Hi everyone!

It’s day 5 of the Digital Dozen does Rainforests, and the day we’ve all been waiting for! Today I will be sharing my favourite look for the week, and honestly, one of my favourite nail art looks of all time. So far this week, I’ve done floral nails over a thermal polish, freehand butterfly nails, stamped flowers over a water marble, and snakeskin nails. Today I am finishing off the rainforest theme with some cute tree frog nail art! Painted Fingertips | Tree frog nailsJust look at that little guy, peeking around the leaf! I was pretty nervous when I started this nail art, thinking I wouldn’t be able to pull it off, but it went so well! I used a couple of pictures I found with a Google image search to help me and I couldn’t be happier with the result.

Painted Fingertips | Tree frog nails - leaves and flowersI started off with a base of the gorgeous Supermoon Lacquer Mystic Mountain. I knew this lovely polish needed some extra-special nail art! On all except my thumbnail, I stamped first using Born Pretty Store stamping polish #12 (green) and plate BPX-L018, then added the flowers using the same plate and 1 Born Pretty stamping polish #5 (red). This layering combo was so perfect! I couldn’t be happier since my layered stamping combinations usually end up rather underwhelming.
