I just received another review parcel from Born Pretty Store and that means I’ll have several reviews of stamping plates and other fun products coming your way! I’m excited to show you this first stamping plate, BP-L043, because I love both nail art looks I created using it. It has some really pretty images!
For my first look, I just did some basic stamping, but I think the combination I came up with is really beautiful.
As you can see on the macro, the stamp transferred perfectly. The plate is etched well and I’m very happy with the quality.
For my second look using this plate, I decided to create some stamping decals and I knew I needed to focus on those pretty flowers and butterflies at the bottom of the plate.
I started off with a base of Darling Diva Tainted, and then made the stamping decals using different images from plate BP-L043. I used acrylic paint to colour the decals, which worked really well! In the past I’ve generally used polish for this step – which is great when you want something glittery or shimmery – but paint was perfect for the effect I was going for here, and the texture made it easier to work with.
I really like these! The images are so lovely, and I’m glad it came together well despite using multiple different images.
The combination of the sparkly base polish with the colourful but non-sparkly butterflies and flowers was just perfect, too.
Isn’t that pretty? These flowers are a little too big to have multiple flowers on each nail, but they would also be perfect for a pretty accent nail.
Overall, I love this plate! It has some really pretty images and I’m crazy about both of these manicures I did using it!
