Are you familiar with Crowstoes Nail Color? If you are, you’ve probably seen pictures of some of their incredible multichromes, or perhaps you own some yourself! Not long ago, I was lucky enough to win a small giveaway in their Facebook fan group which basically amounted to enough store credit for one polish. I decided to try out one of those multichromes I’d been drooling over forever!
This is Crowstoes Huginn & Muninn (Sparked). Not long ago, a couple of old favourite multichromes were re-released in ‘sparked’ (scattered holo) and linear holo versions. I love a little scattered holo in a multichrome – it adds interest, without taking away from the strength of the multichrome shift!
Shown here are two coats of Huginn & Muninn (sparked) with top coat. The formula was great and easy to work with, and look at that shift! This is a purple-blue-green multichrome, with purple being the dominant colour. I did find that in lower lighting conditions, the green became more dominant and it looked like a more olive green shifty polish. You can see what I mean on the macro:
