Hi everyone!

Today I have a Born Pretty Store polish to share with you, a fun duochrome with added glitters. This is Born Pretty Store Chameleon Polish #33.

Painted Fingertips | Swatch - Born Pretty Store swatch duochrome chameleon polish #33 bottle shotThis is a green-purple duochrome polish containing matching green glitters. Shown here are 3 coats with top coat. I found the formula rather thick and as you can see, I had some shrinkage at the tips of my nails. This may be at least partly because of my top coat, but the less-than-perfect formula of this polish didn’t help. In the future, I’d consider using a black base with just one coat of this over it, to use less polish and hopefully get the same or a more intense effect.

I know that they were just taken with the right lighting and angles to make the purple shift come out more, but I was expecting a far more intense purple shift and a strong contrast with the green glitters. Instead, I have a mostly green base which matches the green glitters quite closely.

Overall, while I think this is a pretty polish, given the formula, I probably wouldn’t pay the price for the small 6 ml polish. It will make a great base for galaxy nail art, though!
