Hi everyone!

I have a bright and fun look to share with you today, and I just can’t decide what to call it! Somehow in my head I keep thinking ‘Starburst stamping’ but I don’t know how this look is really a starburst! It’s not quite like fireworks, and it’s not exactly an abstract floral. So what is it? It looks cool, either way!

Painted Fingertips | Stamping over neonsTo get this look, I started with a base of Sinful Colors Snow Me White and then used tiny pieces of a make-up sponge to sponge on Sweet & Sour Lacquer Hey Diddly Ho, Ay Caramba!, (pacifier suck), I’ll Be In My Room, Mmm… …Donuts, and Oh, Homie. I just went for a random blend of the different neons. I then stamped using my Born Pretty Store black stamping polish and plate BP-L078. I’m really liking the different cool and abstract patterns on this plate! (reviewed here).

Painted Fingertips | Stamping over neonsI really think this is such a fun look, and it’s a simple way to make some basic stamping more interesting. You can use any colour combination for the mottled sponging on the base, and combine it with any stamping image – so many options!

Painted Fingertips | Stamping over neonsI hope you also like the fun stamping image and bright colours!
