Hi everyone!
Things have been quieter than usual around here – but I’m back with some Christmassy nail art! Last week I was away at a conference in New Orleans. I was supposed to get back on Sunday and I had a couple of posts planned for this week that I just needed to write up. Instead – I had a connection in Atlanta and I got stuck there due to the power failure at the airport! I only got back on Tuesday evening, and while I intended to get a blog post up on Wednesday, I was too tired out and just needed a break! I’m finally back, though, with a fun Christmas-themed drip marble.
I decided to create a drip marble in Christmas colours and then finish the look off with some stamping. I used some glittery Christmassy polishes for the drip marble – including 4 from last year’s Christmas collection from Polish ‘M. The polishes I used were Polish ‘M Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree, Holly Jolly Christmas, and Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, along with Zoya Merida and Darling Diva The Hot Kitsune.
Over the drip marble, I stamped using Born Pretty Store plate Celebration BPX-L008 and stamping polish #54 (Pearl white). I will say that this was not my favourite drip marble that I’ve done (that would be either my Jupiter drip marble or my forest green one), but the addition of the stamping made it into something fun and festive.
Even though I only kind of liked this drip marble, I still want to do more and more drip marbles! It is such a fun technique! If you celebrate Christmas, have you done some fun Christmassy nail art yet, or put up some sparkly decorations?
