Today I have a review of a green metallic stamping polish from Born Pretty to share with you. As usual, I have 2 looks done with this polish. I really liked this stamping polish, it is very opaque and a gorgeous colour!
For the first look I did using this stamping polish, I wanted to stick to a greenish base. I used a base of Zoya Ireland, which is the perfect mix between nude and green. It is a lovely, muted, pale earthy green and worked really well with this stamping.
For the stamping, I used Born Pretty Store stamping polish #37 and plate BP-L078. I absolutely loved how this looked. Something about this colour combination and the fine lines of the stamp worked incredibly well. I couldn’t stop looking at my nails!
Even after doing just this one look, I already knew that this stamping polish was a winner.
I wanted to test the opacity and performance of this polish over a dark base, so I did a second look over an almost-black base to show you.
Perfectly opaque! I liked the look over the green a little more, but I love how well this one shows off the stamping polish. This makes me want all the metallic stamping polishes!
To get this look, I started with a base of Darling Diva Polish The Huntress. I then stamped using the metallic green stamping polish and two images from plate BP-L049. I decided to use one that had some large stamped areas to see how this stamping polish did with it, since I was so impressed with it already. It worked perfectly, as you can see!
I don’t use images with this much of the stamped image being engraved that often, but I loved how it looked in this case. Perhaps I should use them more!
The gold flakes in The Huntress look really cool with the green, too!
If you’d like to try this metallic stamping polish (and seriously, it’s great), it’s available here. Don’t forget you can also use the code KGG10 for 10% off on any Born Pretty Store orders!
Which of these two looks did you like best?
