Water Marble Wednesday: Pastel Neons

Hi everyone!

It’s Water Marble Wednesday! It’s been quite a while since I’ve shared a Wednesday water marble, and I’ve really missed creating these. Recently, Vapid Lacquer had a special purge sale to clear out old or imperfect stock, at steep discounts. I was able to pick up their Candy Shop collection of pastel neons during the sale at around half price. I don’t see anything wrong with mine, so I think they were just clearing out old stock. I had a feeling these would be perfect for water marbles, and I was right!

To get this look, I started off with a white base, and then marbled using Vapid Gum Drop, Bubble Gum, Rock Candy, LollipopPeach Ring and Lemon Drop. I really enjoyed the pastel neon look – bright while not being too overwhelming!

I decided to finish it off with a matte top coat, just because pastel neons look cool in matte.

It’s really interesting how different colours dominated on different nails, even though I used all 6 for each nail!

A good water marble like this always inspires me to do more! Things have been really busy for me recently, but I need to find a gap to do some more water marbling.

I’m so glad I got my hands on the Candy Shop collection (and that I got the Candy Shop collection on my hands!) What do you think of this water marble?
