I know, I know, I’m so late with this post! But here it is at last, my fifth and final post for last week’s Digital Dozen stamping theme. For this theme, I needed to combine the prompt with a few stamping plate and polish reviews I needed to get done. So far, I shared reviews of 3 plates from Beauty Big Bang – plate BeautyBigBang10, plate BeautyBigBang09, and plate BeautyBigBang07. I also shared my review on how the Moonflower Polish Spring collection performs for stamping. Today I’m back with another review, this time for Born Pretty Store plate Valentine’s Day BP-L001.
As its name suggests, this plate is covered with images that would be perfect for Valentine’s Day – mostly roses and a few hearts. But, who says you can’t wear roses any day of the year? There are some lovely, elegant and wearable images on this plate.
Doesn’t it look lovely? I’m glad I chose Be Happy as the base for this look! While I’m still missing my longer nails, I have to say that I loved how this made my nails look!
For my second look with this plate, I tried some stamping decals. There are several images on this plate that could work for decals and I chose one that combined roses and leaves.
For this look, I started with a base of Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Monster’s Tea at Tiffany’s. For the stamping decals, I used Born Pretty’s black stamping polish with the image from plate BP-L001 and filled in the roses and leaves using Polish ‘M Here Comes Santa Claus and Holly Jolly Christmas.
This look made me miss my longer nails a little – I could have fit on more roses. At least I was able to fit on some rose and some leaf on each nail!
It really is a lovely image and I love using glittery polishes for stamping decals! If you like this plate, it’s available here, and you can use the code KGG10 for 10% off your order.
