Black & White Dotticure | The Digital Dozen Does Inspired by Each Other

Painted Fingertips | Black and white dots inspired by Druid Nails

Hi everyone!

I’m running a bit behind with this week’s Digital Dozen posts – I’m going to a conference next week and I’ve had a really busy few days preparing for it. The good news is I think I’m ready for the conference, so now I’m going to be playing catchup with some nail art posts for you. For my second ‘inspired by each other’ look, I was inspired by this black and white dotticure done by Druid Nails. Simple but so striking and pretty!

Doesn’t that look great? It was a little simpler than I usually go in terms of nail art, but I really loved wearing it, it was such a bold look without being over the top! I think it’d also look great with either black or white combined with another colour.

To get this look, I started with a base of either Sinful Colors Snow Me White or Black on Black, and then added dots and a single heart on each nail in the opposite colour. I should have been a little more careful with my top coat – I managed to get a few smears, but it still looked good from a short distance.

It’s been ages since I’ve done a dotticure – I shouldn’t overlook a simple dotted look like this! It’s fun to do and I really like the final effect.

Thanks to Druid Nails for providing the inspiration for this striking look!
