Hi everyone!

I was filing my nails the other day when I had the urge to try something different. I usually file my nails edges first, then tips, so there’s always a moment when I’m left with more of a pointed claw/almond shape – this time, I decided to shape all of my nails that way and do at least one nail art before deciding if I’d round them off to my usual oval shape.

I decided that roses would be the perfect look for this fierce nail shape! To get this look, I started with a base of Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Because of My Character, then stamped the roses using Moonflower Polish Wine and Born Pretty’s plate Valentine’s Day BP-L001.

Something about this nail shape made me want to use red and silver and all the rose images I have. I think it was a good choice! Because of My Character looked amazing and so did the stamped roses.

I felt pretty badass with this nail shape and art – but the next day, I wound up returning to my usual oval shape.
