It’s Water Marble Wednesday! Today I have a vibrant neon water marble to share with you. I recently swatched the Music City Beauty Risqué collection, consisting of 6 neon cremes. I mentioned in that post that the collection could water marble, and here’s the proof! I’ve actually already done a second water marble with some of the polishes from this collection, so be on the lookout for when I post that one.
Something that I’ve noticed when water marbling with quite a lot of polishes is that a few of the colours will often dominate, and you don’t always have control over which shades. It can also vary from nail to nail. The effect is often lovely, but it can be different than what you were looking for. So, rather than fighting this effect while marbling with 6 polishes, I decided to purposely have different colours on each nail.
I picked 3 out of the 6 polishes from the Music City Beauty Risqué collection – Aphrodisiac, Attention Whore, Happy Ending, Red Light Special, Showgirl, and Battery Operated Boyfriend. I used the first 3 I picked on my first nail, and then rotated one in and one out as I moved to each nail in the marble. So, each nail has used only 3 polishes from the collection, but shares 2 shades with its neighbours.
Marbling was easy with these polishes! I finished off the look with a matte top coat.
These neon cremes are so great for nail art! Do you enjoy neon water marbles?
