The polish in this post was provided for my honest review.
I’m taking a quick break from all the Polish Con posts today to share Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer’s polish for September’s Polish Pickup. This month’s Polish Pickup theme is horror movies. Julie chose The Exorcist for her inspiration and created a truly lovely polish! I was so excited to swatch Excellent Day for an Exorcism – I love a good grey polish.
Excellent Day for an Exorcism is a gorgeous grey packed with red and gold shimmer and gold microflakes. The official description is a medium-dark greige scattered holographic with green and gold sparking shimmers, gold microflakies, and red to green aurora pigment. Here I am showing 2 coats with top coat. The formula on this polish was excellent, smooth and opaque – I barely needed that second coat.
I must confess that I’m not all that big on horror movies. In fact, horror is probably my least favourite genre. I tend to find it either silly, or scary – and I know scary is the point, but I rarely enjoy that. Fortunately, what I do enjoy is gorgeous nail polish! This one is a winner for sure – how can you not love that macro shot?
