Hi everyone!

For those of you in the US, I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving! I did, and I’m still working on some tasty leftover pie. I made my first ever pecan pie and fortunately, it was a success! I also brought home some pumpkin pie from our kind hosts and both have been delicious.

Speaking of pumpkins, I have some pumpkin-themed nail art to share with you today. I actually did this last month with the intention of sharing it as a Halloween look, but I was a bit slow and so you’re only getting to see it today. Hopefully some of you are still enjoying the pumpkin season enough to appreciate this nail art!

To get this look, I started with a base of Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Excellent Day for an Exorcism. I then stamped using BeautyBigBang plate XL-019. I wanted a powder stamped look, so I gently brushed some gold-green powder onto my stamper, and then used it to pick up and stamp Born Pretty’s black stamping polish. It worked reasonably well, but I wished that the powder itself appeared crisper on the stamping and that I could get more of the smooth mirror surface with it. I think that may be too much to ask since I can’t exactly buff it into the stamping, but it’s a cool effect just like this in any case.
