To get this look, I started with a base of Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Rent Boy. Once that was dry, I painted broad stripes of Rent Boy on the base and tip of a nail, with a stripe of Tip Top Gold Mine in the middle. Using a pin, I dragged the colours through and into each other to create a fiery marbled effect.
Doesn’t that look cool? I’ve been wanting to make some polish jewellery with a needle drag effect, but I haven’t figured out how to get a good drag on the glass surface. Any suggestions?
