It’s day 3 of the Digital Dozen does books! As usual, Digital Dozen week is flying by. So far this week, I’ve shared some Old Kingdom nail art, and a look inspired by a saxophone music book. Today’s look wasn’t inspired by a single specific book, but rather by colouring books in general.
I confess, I recycled this idea. I’ve done nail art inspired by colouring books before, but it’s just such a fun idea and I enjoy colouring in my nails!
To get this look, I started with a base of Sinful Colors Snow Me White, then stamped using a black Born Pretty Store stamping polish and Moyou London plate Flower Power Collection – 18. I added a matte top coat, which is needed to create a rough surface to colour in on. I then used my coloured pencils to colour in the flowers, just like a colouring book!
Isn’t that cool? I love that it’s possible to colour in my nails with pencils. I think I chose the perfect stamping image for this look, too.
What do you think?
