Hi everyone!

It’s Digital Dozen week! This week’s theme is patterns. I decided to start the week off with a zigzag pattern and a stamped gradient.

Have you noticed how many stamping images are patterns of one kind or another? I may just have a couple more stamped looks coming up this week, although I’ll be mixing it up with some freehand stuff as well!

To get this look, I started with a base of Bee’s Knees Lacquer Haetae. I then stamped using three Born Pretty Store stamping polishes – #18, #7, and #284. I used plate XL-16 from BeautyBigBang for the image.

I really like gradient stamping! It’s so easy to do – just use multiple stamping polish colours that are close enough to create a natural kind of gradient when you place them next to each other – and it has a wonderful effect!

The zigzags are wide enough that I almost have just one ‘zig’ or chevron per nail – but you can see the ‘zags’ in a couple of places 🙂 Either way, it’s a fun pattern.
