It’s very definitely Autumn here and all of the leaves are changing! The tree outside my window was still green a couple of weeks ago but it’s golden-yellow now and rapidly losing its leaves. Soon it will be bare and winter will be here!
The other day I really felt like doing some freehand leaves on my nails and now they are just perfectly seasonal. I decided on a mix of Fall colours with a little orange and yellow, and less realistic colours with the blue. I just liked the effect of these colours together and I think they still bring that Autumn vibe across!
To get this look, I started with a base of Polish ‘M Just Breathe. I then used acrylic paints and a fine nail art brush for all of the leaves and dots.
I really liked how this turned out! As you can see, the leaves were not very detailed and they were very quick to paint, but the overall effect is just what I was going for.
I’m always sad to see the end of Summer, which is my favourite season, but I’m sure many of you are celebrating the arrival of cooler weather – or for those in the Southern hemisphere, the longer days and flowers that come with Spring! Which seasons do you enjoy most?
